Q3 2022 Irish Commercial Real Estate Investment Market Review by Russell Cleere
The Irish commercial real estate investment market continues to show strong performance with almost €1.8 billion transacted in Q3, 2022, up over 120% from the same period in 2021. This brings the total year to date spend to €4.9 billion.
In uncertain times, with inflation and interest rates on the rise, real estate investment is seen as a good hedge for investors given the fixed lease terms, income certainty and generally 5 yearly rent reviews reducing volatility. TWM expects a strong ending to the year with overseas investors continuing to see Ireland as a place to invest and many keen to complete transactions by year end.
